With solemn reverence, we commemorate Shirley A. Habel of Hazleton, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on June 12, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Wunderlich and Agnes Wunderlich (Schnauffer-McNally); her husband Joseph Habel; her brother Charles Wunderlich; and her son-in-law James Barilla.
She is survived by: her family Christian; her children, Erica Barilla Vitale (Kevin) and Joseph Habel (Lynda); and her grandchildren, Joseph Habel (Auburn) and Sarah Habel (Jourdan).
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home – Crematory (530 W Butler Dr, Drums, PA 18222). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hazleton Animal Shelter.
