Barry touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Barry’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Yeakel and Elva "Peg" Yeakel (Price) of Coopersburg; his brothers, Forry, Ray and Dennis; and his close friend Sandy Yoder.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Original Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Barry's memory are encouraged to make a donation to The Sanctuary at Haafsville, an organization whose work would be especially meaningful to someone who loved animals—and particularly cats—as much as Barry did.
