We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2025, at the age of 93, Dorothy S. Reiss of Hellertown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Gerald A. Reiss; her parents, John Spisak and Anna Spisak (Smurda); and her son Gary J. Reiss. She is survived by: her son Duane R. Reiss (Lisa) of Harleysville; her grandchildren, Brooke, Joshua, Glenn, Christine and Trevor; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kole, Joelle, Chelsea, Cole and Melanie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. (326 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown (85 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055). A reception will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Carriage House (326 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy's memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, 2510 Livingston Street, Allentown, PA 18104.
