She is survived by: her husband George J. Shoemaker; her pet Carlie; her brothers, Joseph W. Pietrouchie (Nancy) of Coplay and Leo Michael Pietrouchie of Bethlehem; her sister-in-law Yvonne Pietrouchie of Bethlehem; her nieces and nephews, Michelle Pietrouchie-Summers (Robert) of Bethlehem, Kelly Toth (Michael) of Schnecksville, Katie Pietrouchie (Jomo Burton) of Allentown and Harry Pietrouchie (Amy) of Bethlehem; and her great-nieces, Alexa and Madison Summers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Esther's name to an animal rescue organization of your choosing, honoring her lifelong love for animals.
