He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mease and Mildred Mease (Fluck); his brothers, Stanley, Richard and Norman Mease; his granddaughter Jacquelyn Ruyak; and his nephews, Robert Sterling and Alan Mease, Jr..
He is survived by: his spouse DeEtta Faye Mease (Barber); his children, Jennifer M. Ruyak (Robert) of Bethlehem, Sharon K. Zaun (William) of Bethlehem, Eugene E. Mease, Jr. (Patricia) of Mansfield and George J. Mease (Lisa) of Bethlehem; his siblings, Martha B. Sterling (Robert) of Bethlehem, Alan R. Mease (Onalee) of Ocala, FL, Esther M. Knickerbocker (Randy) of Elkland and Ruthann Valente of Allentown; and his grandchildren, Allison Ruyak Buck (Nicholas), Brien Ruyak (Taylor Jetton), Ryan Zaun, Kimberly Zaun (Michael Sousa), Andrea Mease (Justin Hankins), Heather Mease and Alexandra Mease.
