He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert F. Stelzer, Sr. and Marie Stelzer (Seyfried); and his sister Elizabeth Altman. He is survived by: his wife Helen F. Stelzer (Wiley); his children, Carol Anne Laub (Jeffrey A.) of Hellertown, Lisa Marie Brundies (Christopher R.) of Sycamore, IL, Herbert F. Stelzer III and Kurt M. Stelzer of Hellertown; and his sisters, Sandra Ann Olesky (Joseph) of Pocono Pines and Marguerite B. Scott (William) of Springfield, PA. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
