He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Qualls and Elizabeth Qualls (Dawson); and his siblings, Donna, Beth and Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Qualls (Reading); his daughters, Jennifer DiChiara (Frank) of Hillsborough, NJ, Brianna Qualls (Thomas Carrion) of Colorado and Sarah Qualls of Allentown; and his grandchildren, Frankie, Christopher, Daniel, Colton and Julianna.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. (326 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James's name to a local food bank, or invited attendees may bring a non-perishable food item to the services at the funeral home.
