It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean D. Glose of Hellertown, Pennsylvania, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Gerald D. Glose, Sr.; her parents, Charles H. O. and Viola Regina Moyer (Wilson); her children, Jean D. Vough and Ricky L. Glose; and her siblings, Gloria Martrich and William Moyer.

She is survived by : her children, Shelly L. Sangrey (Shawn) of Slatington and Gerald D. Glose, Jr. (Christine) of Whitehall Township; her children-in-law, Lisa Glose of Northampton and Dennis Vough of Carrollton, GA; her brothers, Charles H. O. Moyer, Jr. (Rebecca) of Allentown and Ronnie Moyer, Sr. (Mary Friend-Hertzog) of Salisbury Township; and her sister-in-law Patricia Moyer of Allentown. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the K. V. Knopp Funeral Home (46 E Susquehanna St, Allentown, PA 18103). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
