He was predeceased by: his father Harleigh P. Kichline; and his siblings, Loretta E. Medei, Dale and Ray. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Kichline; his children, Kyle D. Kichline (Lisa) of Macungie and Kelly D. Hart (Noel) of Thornton, CO; his siblings, Marilyn L. Bernhardt of Bethlehem Twp and A. Richard "Dick" of Dana Point, CA; and his grandchildren, Ryder, Lauren and Rory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Wounded Warriors of PA, 1117 Country Club Road Camp Hill, PA 17011.
