He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Patterson (Bernhardt); his daughter Kathy (Larry Fritchman); his grandchildren, Miranda and Erich; his son Jeff Patterson (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Sara and Emma; his daughter Laurie (late Richard Berkheimer Sr.); his grandson Richard Berkheimer Jr.; and his brother Ben Patterson (Jamie) of Seaford, DE..
