He was predeceased by : his parents, Rose Marie (Bronich) and Chester M. Burger Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Christine E. Burger (Walker); his sons, Andrew Burger of Sharpsville and Alex Burger (Michelle) of Pittsburgh; his sisters, Bonnie L. Stright (J. O.) of Florida and Darlene Taylor (John) of Hermitage; his nephews, Justin Stright and Matthew Taylor; and his pet Cully.
