She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Matvey and Mary Matvey (Kenig); her husband Donald James Christy; her son Darrell Christy; her son-in-law John Kovach; and her siblings, Carole Matvey, Earnest and Richard Matvey.

She is survived by: her children, Dawnelle Kovach of Transfer and Dana Christy (Joan) of Hermitage; her granddaughter Dawn Lucas of McKinney, TX; and her siblings, Sandra Dimoff, Gerald Matvey (Connie) of Mercer and Norman Matvey (Rose) of Hermitage.
