He was predeceased by: his parents, George McConnell and Eleanor McConnell (Gamble); his wife Charlene Braine McConnell; and his son George Tom McConnell. He is survived by: his children, Terry McConnell (Sarah) of Hartford, OH, Cindy Andreyko (Greg) of North Huntingdon, PA, Cathy Herberger (Tim) of Hubbard, OH and Matthew McConnell (Angela); his siblings, William G. McConnell (Gene) of Hermitage, Mary Eleanor Milheim (Irvine) of Greenville, PA and Martha Sue Beezer (Gene) of El Cajon, CA; and his daughter-in-law Michele Barbin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A masonic service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 8:00 PM to 8:15 PM at the Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home (264 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
