He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Taaffe and Marcella Taaffe (Sweesy); and his sister Janet West (Ray West). He is survived by: his wife Theodora "Teddie" Comninos; his children, Tim Taaffe (Janice) of Chattanooga, TN, Kevin Taaffe (Lois) of Lino Lakes, MN, Dennis Taaffe of Hermitage, PA and Jill Dokey (Randy) of Howell, MI; and his siblings, Jerry Taaffe of Virginia and Maureen Chiasson of Austintown, OH. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
