He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy H. "Roy" DeBrakeleer and Anna DeBrakeleer (Moder); and his sister Paula Knott. He is survived by: his wife Diana DeBrakeleer (Vernille); his children, Dr. Donald J. DeBrakeleer (Lynne) of Lansdale, PA and Joni M. Lewandowski (Dave) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Danielle Lewandowski (Phil), Melissa Lewandowski (Bert), D. J. DeBrakeleer (Caroline), David Lewandowski (Andrea), Daniel and Dylan DeBrakeleer; his great grandchildren, Ada, Leo, James, Bode, Landon and Fia; and his sister DeAnna Opalenik. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
