We bid farewell to Mary Ann Covert of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Mary Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marenchin and Mary Marenchin (Popyak); her husband Lester L. Covert; her daughter Lora Covert; and her siblings, John, Donald Marenchin, George Rabatin, Dorothy Newell, Betty Henderson and Thelma Voshell.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie Ross (Alan), Keith Covert (Lorrie Watson) of Hermitage and Wayne Covert (Caroline) of Hermitage; her brother Ernest Marenchin; and her sister-in-law Ruth McConnell. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle F. H. & Crematory, Inc. - Sharon (1090 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (396 Buhl Blvd, Sharon, PA 16146).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to Christ Lutheran Church, 396 Buhl Blvd., Sharon, PA 16146.
