He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Banas and Catherine Banas (Kubyako); his brother Robert Lee Banas (Judith); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Maykowski, David Trepanosky and Lois Banas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Lee Banas, Steve A. Banas and Carol Maykowski; his close friend Sharon Leckie (Brookfield); his siblings' children, David Trepanosky and Jennifer Kilgore (Chad); and his aunt Margie Giambattista. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family; and friends.
