It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter John Masotto of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Masotto and Rose Masotto (Michalski); his wife Mary Katherine Masotto (Prezgay); and his siblings, Joseph, Stanley Masotto, Anna Marie Masotto and Victoria Pisano.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Masotto Swetz (John), Zora Detwiler (Eric) and Annette Bermudez (Domingo); his grandchildren, Daniel Bobbie, Mark Bobbie, Domenic Bermudez, Devin Detwiler, Rena Bermudez and Erika Gavens; and his sister Rose Flynn (Tom) of Clark, PA. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Anthony's Church, 804 Idaho St., Sharon, PA 16146; or Joshua's Haven, 1230 Stambaugh Ave., Sharon, PA, 16146.
