He is survived by: his wife Mimi Mentrek (Johnston); his children, Steven Mentrek of Weston, OH, Gregory Mentrek (Kim) of Burlington, ON, Erin Paras (John) of Winchester, VA and Genna Roskey (Steve) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Keegan, Keller, Austin, Ryder, Nathan, Conner Mentrek, Graham, Greysen Paras, Milo Roskey and Elliana Roskey; and his sisters, Wendy Novak (John) and Carrie DeJulia (David).
