It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Cathcart of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Kamerer; his stepfather Kenneth "Red" Kamerer; his father Charles Cathcart; and his sister Charlotte Despain. He is survived by: his sister Debbie Bigler; his niece Robin Simmons; his sons, Steven Cathcart (Kimberly) of Hermitage, PA and Keith Cathcart (Rachel Gutierrez) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Spencer, Ysobel and Caleb Cathcart; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Evelyn Cathcart.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. (2630 E State St, Hermitage, PA 16148). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
