She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Buster" A. Carl Sr.; her parents, Elmer L. Rothermel Sr. and Elva M. Rothermel (Wirt); her siblings, Richard D. Rothermel and Lenice D. Yorks; and her nephew Brett A. Rothermel.
She is survived by: her son Robert A. Carl Jr.; and her siblings, Elmer "Butch" Rothermel (Ruth) and Judy Badman (Ken). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
