He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. McCarthy and Dorothy McCarthy (Pfeffer). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Hovis); his children, Kevin (Julie) of Leonardtown, MD and Karen of Palmyra; his grandchildren, Erin (Ned) and Bryan; and his brother Raymond (Jane) of Hamilton Square, NJ.
A rosary was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory (88 Lucy Ave, Hershey, PA 17033). Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (359 W Areba Ave, Hershey, PA 17033).
