She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles M. Bartenslager and Sarah Bartenslager (Keeney); her husband Claude Peter Swartzbaugh, Jr.; her granddaughter Jessica St. Clair; her son-in-law Joel Craig Sheaffer; and her sisters, Helen Orwig, Ida Black and Mary Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melodie Bedford, Cristal Sheaffer and Lisa Lithgow (Jim). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
