With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita M. Rittelmann of Hershey, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2026 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita M. Rittelmann to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Ionni and Mary Ionni (Tancredi); and her brothers, Remo Ionni and Richard Ionni. She is survived by: her husband David Rittelmann; her children, Gregory Catalone, Bradley Catalone (Tina), Lori Smith (Gerard) and Pam Catalone (Christopher Wray); her former husband Edward Catalone; her grandchildren, Scott, Nathan, Hannah, Grace, Ethan and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Kiya and Dominic. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory (88 Lucy Ave, Hershey, PA 17033). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
