He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul D., Sr. and Elizabeth C. Long (Shaffer); his siblings, Donald Long, Kenneth Long, Paul Long, Jr., Barbara Long, Betty Hayes, Annabell Wert, Geraldine Booth and Gloria Wilson; his daughter June M. Aldinger; and his grandson Tanner M. Long.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor R. Long (Hallman); his children, Ty R. Long (Tracy) of Hershey, Todd A. Long of Hershey and Amy R. Bomgardner (Jay) of Jonestown; his son-in-law Timothy V. Aldinger of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Alyssa Jockers (Aaron), Travis Aldinger (Andrea), Ty Long, Jr., Megan Bomgardner and Owen Bomgardner; his great grandchildren, Corbin Jockers and Mason Jockers; and his siblings, Barry Long (Kathleen) and Thelma Farst. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Conewago Community Church (7035 Schoolhouse Rd, Hershey, PA 17033). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Conewago Community Church, 7035 Schoolhouse Road, Hershey, PA 17033.
