He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Koegler and Madeline Koegler (Hughes); his children, Catherine, Theresa and Brian; and his siblings, James, Helen Haley, Betty Krug, Pete, John, Jim, Charles, Virginia "Ginger" Fortney, Rosemary "Midge" Wyland and Mary Jo Hawthorne.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Koegler (Dawn) of Hershey, PA, Lisa Rederer (Ed) of Cape Coral, FL, Paul Koegler (Karen) of Florida and Ann Koss (William) of Revloc; and his siblings, Pat, Gloria, Madeline, Catherine Joan and Genevieve. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests Masses and Spiritual Bouquets or donations in Stephen's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
