It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lee Wakefield of Hesston, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 76, on October 12, 2025. As we bid Lee farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lee is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Wakefield and Grace L. Wakefield (Witters). He is survived by: his wife Barbara R. Snyder; his children, Melissa J. Grubb (Marty) of Hesston and Michael L. Wakefield (Carisa) of Dalmatia; and his grandchildren, Devin Grubb, Halee Grubb, Jaycee Zak and Leevi Wakefield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ (12006 Station Rd, Huntingdon, PA 16660). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
