With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darwin Witmer of Hickory, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray D. Witmer and Cora M. Witmer (Peifer); his wife Donna Witmer; his children, Tara Witmer, Kenneth Bohner (Heather Bohner) and Michael Bohner (Jennifer Bohner); his grandchildren, Michelle, Kenny, Melina, Danielle, Zach, Gabrielle and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Stella and Mavis; his brother Irvin Witmer; his sisters-in-law, Sandra, Vick and Jeanne; his siblings, Harold Witmer and Irene Shade; and his brother-in-law Dean Schaffner.
Memorial contributions may be made in Darwin's name to the Keystone Elk Country Alliance, Dalmatia Fire Company, or Herndon Fire Company.
