She was predeceased by: her parents, John Donald Clendenin and Jane Campbell Clendenin. She is survived by: her husband Dr. C. Richard Nichols; her children, John R. Nichols (Michele) and Lara N. Rimmel (Robert); her grandchildren, Jake, William Rimmel and Olivia Nichols; and her brother John C. Clendenin (Donna).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nan's name to the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, or Tunnels to Towers in New York City.
