He is survived by: his son John J. Helisek, Jr. (Angela); his caregiver Helen M. Sparrow; his grandchildren, Nicole Morrell (George) and Daniel Sparrow (Stacie); and his great grandchildren, Boston Sparrow and Maddison Morrell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
