The passing of David Koelle of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald D. Koelle and Caroline W. Koelle (Behm); his sons, Troy Koelle and Brian Koelle; and his siblings, Janice McGee, Kathy Hogan and Roger Koelle.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet J. Mattern; his sons, G. Todd Koelle (Kimberly) and Wade B. Koelle (Sherry); his daughter-in-law Terry Koelle; his grandson Brandon Koelle (Brandy); his stepson Devin; his stepgrandchildren, Payton and Adalynn; his son Alexis Tickerhoof (James); his grandchild Lorelai; his stepgrandchildren, Brett Koelle (Jenna), Makayla Koelle and Mason Koelle; his sister Marsha Koelle; Brittany Miller (Garrett), Oliver and Rhys. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in memory of Dave please be made to Second Avenue Global Methodist Church, 130 Second Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602 or to Geeseytown Community Fire Company, 215 Mary Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
