He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ott and Catherine V. Ott (Brawley). He is survived by: his partner Robin Lear; his sons, Joseph Ott of Altoona and John Ott of Colorado; his grandchildren, Damian and Catherine Ott; his great grandchild Aurora Hughes; his siblings, Donald "Jake" Ott of Hollidaysburg, Cindy Dempsie of Colorado and Deborah Hicks of Altoona; and his siblings' children, Jimmy Patterson, Brandon Ott, Tyson Hicks, Denny Dempsie, Tyler Dempsie, Sheena Hicks and Lauren Caputo.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in John's name to the Juniata Valley Gospel Church, 1301 Juniata Valley Road, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
