He was predeceased by: his parents, Demeter Herman and Mary Herman (Cibulas); his daughter Laura Schumann; and his siblings, Peggy, Helen, Connie, Ann, Steve, Joe, Tom and John.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Vedock); his daughter Janice Herman; his stepdaughters, Patricia Porcelan (Dave) and Jacqueline Walko (Scott); his sons, Rob (Linda) and Dan (Kandi); and his stepson James Widmann. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: and 13 great grandchildren.
