With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. Yoder of Hollsopple, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles R. Yoder to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Marlin S. Yoder; his in-laws, Paul and Anna Mae Shaulis; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Shaulis (Karen) and David Shaulis.
He is survived by: his mother Doris M. Yoder (Leiner); his wife Susan L. Yoder (Shaulis); his children, Jonathan (Nicole) and Melissa (Mike Blaker) of Rice, VA; his grandchildren, Mason, Bennett and Ellie; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Beth" Hawley of Hollsopple, Stephen Yoder of Erie, Brian Yoder (Linda) of Hollsopple and Sandra "Sandy" Yoder (Richard Hanks) of Hollsopple. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Happy Valley Baptist Church (1938 N Ctr Ave, Somerset, PA 15501).
