She was predeceased by: her parents, Slater S. Mishler and Cora M. Mishler (Eash); her husband Merle Shaffer; her grandson Patrick A. Shaffer; her great grandchild Amelia J. Shaffer; her brother Martin Mishler; and her daughter-in-law Susan Shaffer (Wilcox).
She is survived by: her children, Lamar K. (Pamela), Jeffery N. (Donna), New Paris, Sherry E. (Jim Thomas), Rhonda M. (Brad Benton) of Kulm, ND, Mona F. (Don Fahnestock), Phillip M. (Tonya), Rose and Craig A. (Tamara); and her siblings, W. Duane Mishler (Esther), D. Paul Mishler, Martha A. Miller and Miriam A. Cochran. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
