He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gilbert and Mabel Gilbert (Blough); his son W. Allen Gilbert; his siblings, Jim Gilbert (Jenny) and Millie Shaffer (Ken); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Gilbert, Judith Ulrich (Ben) and Herb Eppley.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Gilbert (Eppley); his daughters, Renee Caux (Mark), Gretchen Brant (Scott) and Diana Grajeda (Claudio); his grandchildren, Randy Gilbert (Christina), Brandon Gilbert, Britny Parks (Jason), Brandon Blough, II, Austin Blough (Stefanni), Brett Blough, Brock Blough, Hannah Lepley (Luke), Chris Taylor (Leah), Rhys Grajeda and Logan Grajeda; and his siblings, Bill Gilbert and Doris Becony (Glen). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoffman Funeral Home - Boswell (409 Main St, Boswell, PA 15531). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jennerstown Community Church (1673 E Pitt St, Jennerstown, PA 15547).
