James J. McDaid Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James J. McDaid of Holmes, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2025 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James J. McDaid to pay them a last tribute.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Mary; his wife Marrietta McDaid; and his son James McDaid. He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Lee), Leonard (Helen), Joseph (Anita), Marietta Ryan (Dale) and Denise Spadafora (James). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1 Fatima Dr, Secane, PA 19018). A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
