He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos G. Witmer and Mary E. Warner (Henry); his brother Dennis Witmer, Sr.; and his stepfather Richard R. Warner, Sr.. He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Witmer, Jr. of Holtwood and Donald Witmer (Melissa) of York; his grandsons, Austin and Aidan Witmer of York; his brother James Witmer of Lancaster; and his stepsiblings, Richard Warner, Jr. (Cindi) of Arkansas and Marianne Gerlach (Jeff) of Lancaster.
