He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Ellis and Sarah Ellis (Corey). He is survived by : his wife Virginia "Guppy" Ellis (Wollfolk); his children, Melissa Ellis of Pleasant Hills, Eva Harley (Art) of Florida and Thomas Ellis Jr. (Hilda) of Florida; his sisters, Diana Portillo and Sally Degenkolb of Munhall; and his grandchildren, Joshua Ellis (Lainey), Chad Ellis (Allison), Emily Miller (Nicholas), Sarah Harley, Faith, Abigail, Nathan, Natalie and Mira.
