With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Keesler in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, born in Callicoon, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2026 at the age of 80. Though Doris may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doris touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell and Margaret; her sister Patricia Hankins; and her son Randy M. Nolan. She is survived by: her sister Janet Roberts; her sons, Edward C. Nolan (Judy), Roger J. Shaffer Jr. (Judi) and Jason M. Shaffer (Julie); and her grandchildren, Makayla Lamberton, Shaun Nolan, Calla Shaffer, Honour Keaton Shaffer, Logan Shaffer and Dakota Shaffer. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
