Paul Dougherty Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Dougherty Sr. of Honesdale, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dougherty and Catherine Dougherty (McAuliffe). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fox Dougherty; his children, Judy Dougherty Lang (Gerard) of Westfield, NJ and Paul Dougherty (Tricia) of Scranton; his grandchildren, Patrick, Molly Dougherty, Gerard and Annabel Lang; and his sister Ellen Kay Padden (Thomas) of Norristown, PA. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (242 Carbondale Rd, Waymart, PA 18472). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
