George L. Fillinger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George L. Fillinger of Hookstown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lewis and Maggie Hazel Fillinger (Kemper); and his sisters, Mildred Keat Stewart and Martha Jane Ziegler. He is survived by: his wife June Adams Fillinger; his children, Glenn Lewis Fillinger (Laurie South) and Claudette Louise Lawson (Curtis); his grandchildren, Ian, Gypsy, Summer, Brandon and Blake Fillinger (Danielle); his great grandchildren, Jasmine and Grant; his niece Shirley Harbert; and also Danielle Guerrini.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made in George's memory to the Beaver Valley Archers Community National Archery in School Program (BVACNASP) in care of his son, Glenn Fillinger.
