He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hitchcock; his children, Robert, Eli Mitchell (Gina), Kevin Cornelius (Rebecca), Kyle VanGorder, Amanda Witcher (Kyle Engleka) and Leona Witcher; his grandchildren, Eliza, Koltyn, Jonah, Ariel and Alice; and his sister Sheri Custer.
