William Murray Obituary
We announce the death of William Murray of Hooversville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 81. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Murray and Zella Murray (Constable); his stepmother Orvetta; his siblings, Doris Ray, Phyllis Stephens, Robert and Richard Murray; and his stepsister Rhoda Kniss.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Custer; his sons, Mark (Amy), Matthew (Laura) and Ben Murray (Jessica); his grandchildren, Bodie, Bentley, Kaley (Andrew Rissinger), Ethan, Faith, Audrey and Cadence Murray; and his stepsisters, Twila Ringler and Janet Stahl. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM. Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deaner Cremation Center (976 Barn St, Hooversville, PA 15936). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
