He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Heiden and Henry Owczarzak (Hank); his stepfather Bun Heiden; and his sister Patti Jo Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Terri Owczarzak (Biddle); his son Donald Sanders; his daughter-in-law Abigail Sanders; his grandchildren, Xerxes Ingrassia and Sterling Sanders; his parents-in-law, Audrey Biddle and Donald Biddle; his siblings-in-law, Tracy Young (Biddle) and Richard Young; his nieces, Sara Allen (Jim Riffle), Kat Sanders and Patti Jo Stewart; his nephew Jordan Sanders; his pets, Casper and Baxter; and his parrot Joey.
