She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dawson and Stella Bowland Dawson; and her husband Walter J. Smith. She is survived by: her son James Smith (Patricia) of Houston; her granddaughters, Krystal Margaria (Aaron), Nicole Moss (Shane), Kim Keturakis (Sam) and Carrie Swain; her great grandchildren, Heidi, Colton Swain, Megan, Kate Keturakis, Stella, Layla, Mason Margaria, Wyatt and Abriella Moss; her sister Sara Kosharsky of Houston; her children, David Smith and Doris Ann Smith; and her siblings, Joseph, Richard, Frank Dawson, Catherine Nesic, Twila Reynier and Martha Cornell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
