He was predeceased by: his father James L. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Angela Lou Taylor Davis; his children, Alicia Michelle McClain (Bob) of Houston, Jennifer Davis of Winter Park, FL, Aaron Vertresse Davis (Monica) of Ocoee, FL, Beverly Perkins of Canonsburg and Lynzie Davis (Malik Singletary) of Hinesville, GA; his siblings, James L. Davis Jr. (Terri) of Cambridge, OH, Arthur Davis of Houston, Jerome Davis (Iris) of Houston and Linda Thomas (Charles) of Houston; his stepsons, Nicholas Taylor (Janae) of Houston and Eli Taylor (Jennifer) of Finleyville; and his former wife Kathie Strnisa Davis. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
