Roberta leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Roberta’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Roberta will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar T. Bechdel. She is survived by: her children, Robert Bechdel (Sally) and Annette Bechdel. She is also survived by several siblings; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks those wishing to honor Bertie's memory perform an act of kindness, share a meal with someone in need, or simply gather with loved ones around the table —just as she always did.
