He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Barndt and Mary Barndt (Walker); and his sister Joyce Shuey. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne M. Lazar; his children, Ronald L. Barndt, Jr. (Connie Holt) of Pine Glen, Bradley L. Barndt of Howard, Betty Jo Ramos of Charlotte, NC, Colby D. Ramos-Lazar (April) of Casper, WY, Clancy R. Griffin (Jessica) of Port Matilda, Jaimy B. Lazar-Horner (David) of Aaronsburg and Joie E. Griffin (Lavern Horst) of Houtzdale; and his siblings, Nelson Barndt (Nancy), Dan Barndt (Diane), Dennis Barndt (Grace), Steve Barndt (Lora), Kevin Barndt, Rodney Barndt, Roger Barndt, Nancy Albright (Lynn), Diane Barndt, Donna Rhoads and Sherry Whitehill (Bruce). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
