He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Opsomer and Alice Opsomer (Schippers); and his brothers, Pete Opsomer and Ferdinand "Skip" Opsomer. He is survived by: his wife Holly Opsomer of Hughesville; his children, Christopher Opsomer (Kristin) of Monroe, GA and Alison Reese (Michael "Scott") of Hughesville; his grandchildren, Evelyn Opsomer, Audrey Opsomer, Violet Opsomer and Brady Reese; his sister Joanne Orosz of Berkeley, CA; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
